THE CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE IGNITES CREATIVITY AND COLLABORATION IN THE INTERNET OF THINGS, BY CREATING, EVOLVING, AND PROMOTING UNIVERSAL OPEN STANDARDS THAT ENABLE ALL OBJECTS TO SECURELY CONNECT AND INTERACT.
Program accomplishments
- THE CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE PROMOTED THE ZIGBEE, MATTER, ALIRO AND PRODUCT SECURITY BRANDS GLOBALLY TO BUILD MARKET AWARENESS. CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE REPRESENTATIVES PARTICIPATED IN A WIDE VARIETY OF VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES AND TRADESHOWS, OFFERING SPEAKING AND EDUCATION SESSIONS AT OVER 17 SUCH CONFERENCES. TO FURTHER KEEP THE AUDIENCE OF INTERESTED PARTIES, INCLUDING THE MEDIA AND ANALYST COMMUNITIES, INFORMED OF CURRENT EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY, THE CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE PRODUCED NUMEROUS ARTICLES, INCLUDING BLOGS, NEWSLETTERS, AND TECHNICAL ARTICLES.
- THE CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE ORGANIZES MEETINGS AND DISCUSSIONS TO HELP DEFINE AND DEVELOP STANDARDS-BASED SPECIFICATIONS. THESE SPECIFICATIONS ARE USED BY MEMBER COMPANIES TO CREATE INTEROPERABLE PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS. THE MEMBERSHIP BASE OF THE CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE IS GLOBAL IN NATURE SO THE MEETINGS ARE ORGANIZED AND PLANNED ACCORDINGLY. DURING 2024, THE CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE ORGANIZED THREE (3) IN-PERSON MEMBER MEETINGS ATTENDED BY OVER 300 MEMBER PARTICIPANTS EACH.
- THIRTY-FIVE PERCENT OF CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE GLOBAL MEMBER COMPANIES, SPANNING THE ENTIRE IOT VALUE CHAIN, ARE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS ALLIANCE'S CERTIFICATION AND TESTING PROGRAMS. THE CERTIFICATION AND TESTING TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LEADING WORKING GROUP TEST EVENTS (TES) FOR SPECIFICATIONS IN DEVELOPMENT, SUPPORTING SPECIFICATION VALIDATION EVENTS (SVES), OVERSEEING SCRIPT VALIDATION EVENTS (SCVES), FACILITATING THE CERTIFICATION OF MEMBERS' PRODUCTS AND PLATFORMS, AND THE DELIVERY OF TEST TOOLS. IN 2024, THE CERTIFICATION TEAM PERFORMED 2,473 CERTIFICATIONS AND PASSED THE CUMULATIVE 10,400 PRODUCTS CERTIFIED.
