Mission
NATIONAL MASTITIS COUNCIL IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO REDUCING MASTITIS AND ENHANCING MILK QUALITY. NMC PROMOTES RESEARCH AND PROVIDES INFORMATION TO THE DAIRY INDUSTRY ON UDDER HEALTH, MILING MANAGEMENT, MILK QUALITY, AND MILK SAFETY.

- NATIONAL MASTITIS COUNCIL (NMC) PROVIDES A FORUM FOR THE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION RELATING TO MASTITIS CONTROL AND MILK QUALITY. THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPS AND PUBLISHES EDUCATION MATERIAL, ESTABLISHES GUIDELINES FOR MASTITIS CONTROL METHODS, DEVELOPS PROTOCOLS, MONITORS CHANGES IN TECHNOLOGY, AND HOLDS MEETINGS AND CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES TO ITS MEMBERSHIP.
