MBNA PROMOTES EXCELLENCE IN THE MEMORIALIZATION AND MONUMENT BUILDING INDUSTRY.
Program accomplishments
- CONVENTIONS AND MEETINGS - MBNA HOLDS AN INDUSTRY SHOW CONVENTION ON ODD YEARS AND HOLDS AN EDUCATION FOCUSED CONFERENCE ON EVEN YEARS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HOLDS OTHER MEETINGS AND PARTICIPATES IN REGIONAL MEETINGS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS ON A REGULAR BASIS. MEMBERS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND NETWORK AND THE INDUSTRY IS PROMOTED AND DISCUSSED.
- CERTIFICATION PROGRAM - OPEN TO ALL MEMORIALISTS WHO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS. PROGRAM FOSTERS EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS OF THE INDUSTRY. THERE ARE CURRENTLY 100 PEOPLE HOLDING THE CERTIFICATION.
- MEMBER BENEFITS - INCLUDES CONSUMER EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND RESPONSE. THE MEMORIAL PROTECTION PLAN ADVOCATES FOR MEMBERS FACING NEEDS IN THEIR BUSINESS WITH THE INDUSTRY AND ALSO PROMOTES AWARENESS OF THE INDUSTRY TO CONSUMERS AS WELL AS ENCOURAGES INTERACTION WITH CONSUMERS AND MEMBERS.
