Mission

To provide relief and camaraderie to veterans and their families in need and support to their communities.

990 for the year ended June 30, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • We provide an environment welcoming to many veterans and allow social interaction for many who would otherwise be alone. We operate the canteen 6-7 days per week throughout the year providing camaraderie and servicing anywhere from 10-60 members and guests per day with occasionally more on special events.0
  • Our membership tends to be a bit older so much of our relief tends to be geared towards an older population. We help with recognizing deceased members and their families at funerals and provide as needed for those that are left behind. We supported 7 members families during and after funerals over the year and maintain a relief fund dedicated to that support.0
  • We support our community mainly through education and awareness. We provide speakers at special events so the community can learn about life in the military and the war-time experiences that typically set the military members apart. We also are present for flag and wreath laying events and in general during federal holidays. During the year we conducted 1 JROTC Awards Ceremony 1 speaking event planted flags at 2 cemeteries and conducted 1 food and clothing drive for our local community.0
