Mission

To financially support existing US based 501(c)(3) organiztions who do work in unreached parts of the world, advancing Christian Gospel by providing services, care, and education.

990 for the year ended March 31, 2026

Program accomplishments

  • The BLESS Foundation strengthened the ministry capabilities that enable BLESS to identify, prepare for, and support gospel work among Unreached People Groups- communities with little or no meaningful access to the gospel or a local church. The Foundations work centered on donor education, mobilization, and the careful evaluation and stewardship of ministry opportunities. Through the 10/40 Club, the Foundation educated and engaged a community of donors committed to reaching the unreached. Educational gatherings, ongoing communication, and personal engagement helped participants understand the spiritual realities facing Unreached People Groups, learn how BLESS approaches its mission, and identify meaningful ways to participate through prayer, generosity, advocacy, service, and sending. These activities cultivated informed and engaged partners whose participation extends beyond financial support. During FYE26, the Foundation chose not to hold its large-scale Light the World fundraising event and instead advanced a year-round model of donor education and engagement through the 10/40 Club, ongoing communication, and relationship-based participation. The Foundation also supported mobilization efforts that connected prospective Mission Partners and Field Workers with pathways for giving, serving, and being sent. Campus-level engagement expanded during the year, helping BLESS develop relationships with emerging leaders and prospective missionary candidates. Pre-field preparation also expanded, strengthening the processes designed to equip Field Workers for faithful, resilient, and sustainable cross-cultural ministry. In addition, the Foundation maintained the systems and organizational capacity for identifying, evaluating, and monitoring Field Partners and ministry opportunities. This vetting and portfolio work considered theological and ministry alignment, organizational readiness, local relationships, accountability, financial stewardship, and the potential for long-term gospel impact. During FYE26, the Foundations portfolio-development work supported new and expanding ministry opportunities in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Sahel and Sub-Saharan Africa. It also strengthened engagement with existing opportunities across Asia, Africa, and other regions within the 10/40 Window. The BLESS Foundation made no grants during FYE26. Frontline grants to Field Partners and ministries serving Unreached People Groups were distributed through The BLESS Fund, a separate related tax-exempt entity. Together, the organizations form a coordinated ministry pathway: the Foundation educates and mobilizes participants, develops and evaluates ministry opportunities, and provides the infrastructure necessary for faithful stewardship, while the Fund deploys gifts to approved frontline ministry opportunities. Because some of this work occurs in sensitive ministry contexts, the Foundation does not publicly identify specific Unreached People Groups, Field Workers, or local ministry partners when disclosure could pose security risks or hinder ongoing ministry.
