Mission
The mission of the National Service Committee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the US dba Pentecost Today USA is to bring baptism in the Holy Spirit to the whole Church, build unity in the Body of Christ, and serve the Poor.
Program accomplishments
- 1. RENEWAL EVENTS: National Leaders Meeting and Conference providing formation, resources, fellowship, and prayer for Renewal and Church Leaders. International online Pentecost Vigil shared by CHARIS International Vatican Office. Ongoing service of promotions of Renewal events on behalf of Renewal organizations. 2. RENEWAL RESOURCES: Published and printed books including "Doctrinal Commission on Baptism in the Holy Spirit," "Doctrinal Commission Deliverance Ministry," "Grace for the Whole Church: Encountering the Holy Spirit through Baptism in the Holy Spirit" which was shared with all US Bishops and Catechetical Institutes. Provide theological and pastoral magazine as a free resource with national and international reach. RENEWAL COMMUNICATIONS: Provide Renewal news via email, podcast, social media, national database of Renewal Offices, Ministries, Religious Communities, Diocesan liaisons, and charismatic prayer meetings in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Filipino, and more. 3. RENEWAL SUPPORT: Support groups including the CHARIS International Vatican Office, CHARIS USA, Association of Diocesan Liaisons, Charismatic Leaders Fellowship, Association of Movements and Communities, Renewal Offices, Centers, Prayer Groups, Covenant Communities, Ministries, and authors. 4. RENEWAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: Development of a graduate-level certificate program in pneumatology and Renewal Leadership to raise up Renewal leaders and build formation materials for different realities of the renewal and parts of the Church. 5. HOLY SPIRIT 2033 NOVENA prayer and action for a new and ongoing Pentecost and unity among Christians launched in USA and in 40+ nations throughout the world.Expenses $246,403 · revenue $97,553
