THE MISSION OF SHOES AND CLOTHES FOR KIDS IS TO BREAK BARRIERS TO SCHOOL ATTENDANCE BY PROVIDING NEW SHOES, CLOTHES, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR STUDENTS IN NEED.
Program accomplishments
- SHOES AND CLOTHES FOR KIDS (SC4K) SERVES MORE THAN 28,000 STUDENTS AND NEARLY 2,000 TEACHERS PER YEAR WITH NEW SCHOOL-APPROPRIATE SHOES, CLOTHES, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, AND MORE. THE SHOES, CLOTHES, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES ARE DISTRIBUTED THROUGH A NETWORK OF 24 NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS, A PARTNERSHIP WITH OVER 280 UNDER-RESOURCED SCHOOLS, AND FAMILIES REFERRED FROM THE GREATER CLEVELAND FOOD BANKS COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER PARTNERS. PARTNERS, EDUCATORS, AND FAMILIES CAN SHOP AT OUR RETAIL-LIKE FREE STORE FOR SHOES, CLOTHES, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES.Expenses $2,929,498 · grants $2,543,384
