Mission
To create and manage a statewide system that helps Minnesotans recycle boat wrap responsibly by providing public education, and free collection, hauling, and recycling of recycle-ready plastic boat wrap.
Program accomplishments
- CIFFRO helps Minnesotans understand how to recycle boat wrap and access no-cost recycling services. Through the Wrap Recycle Right (WRR) program, CIFFRO provides free collection, hauling, and recycling of recycle-ready boat wrap plastic film. CIFFRO works with producers, marinas, storage facilities, recyclers, and communities to support statewide participation and provide guidance on preparing and recycling "recycle-ready" boat wrap. These efforts align with Minnesota's Boat Wrap Stewardship Law and advance broader goals of sustainable materials management by increasing awareness, improving recycling behaviors, and ensuring transparent access to program information.Expenses $426,723 · revenue $765,980
