Mission
The mission of the Altadena Farmers Market is to provide access to local produce, prioritizing dignity and cultural inclusion, create opportunities for the circulation of local dollars to support long-term recovery and justice driven food systems while maintaining sustainable and eco-friendly practices. Following the devastation of the Eaton Fire, we expanded our mission to focus on healing, recovery, and resilience for wildfire-impacted families by building community-led spaces that prioritize community care, economic empowerment, and environmental stewardship. Our goal is to integrate cultural expression, community connections, wellness practices, waste reduction and sustainable farming for long term community recovery and resilience.
