Program accomplishments

  • Developed coaching and mentoring for youth athletes (ages 15-18), focusing on building foundational riding skills, fitness, and confidence.Introduced mentorship initiatives where older, experienced team members (ages 25-62) coach and guide younger athletes, fostering community, responsibility, and leadership within the team. Facilitated team-building events and group rides that encourage riders of all ages to connect outside of structured coaching sessions, promoting camaraderie and healthy lifestyle choices across generations. Organized local fundraising events and dig day to support local trails and initiatives for the outdoors. Sent athletes to national races, providing coaching, support, and logistical assistance to help members achieve personal bests and showcase their talents. Led environmental stewardship programs where team members participated in trail clean-ups, sustainable trail-building, and educational outreach on conservation efforts, ensuring that the sport's impact on nature remains minimal. Developed and promoted a "leave no trace" initiative within the team, teaching responsible trail use and the importance of maintaining the integrity of the natural environment for future riders.
