Friends of Neighborhood Libraries (FONL) was established in 2003 to encourage and support the neighborhood library locations of the Houston Public Library in Houston, TX.

- Friends of Neighborhood Libraries (FONL) was established in 2003 to encourage and support the neighborhood library locations of the Houston Public Library in Houston, TX. Specifically, FONL supports Looscan Branch Library, located at 2510 Willowick Rd, Houston, TX by maintaining the library's physical plant. This includes providing lawn maintenance; updating trees, shrubbery, and flowers yearly; annual power washing of the exterior of the building, maintenance and repair of the sprinkler system, repair of sidewalks and parking areas, and overall cleaning and upkeep of the library exterior.Expenses $38,843
