Mission
THE OHIO NATIONAL GUARD ASSOCIATION EXISTS TO PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL FORUM FOR ITS MEMBERS AND TO BE A UNITED VOICE FOR STATE AND FEDERAL LEGISLATION IN SUPPORT OF NATIONAL GUARD INTERESTS. THE ASSOCIATION PROMOTES AND WORKS WITH NGAUS WITH THE INTENT TO IMPROVE READINESS, CAPABILITIES AND THE WELL-BEING OF THE NATION'S ARMY AND AIR NATIONAL GUARDS AS A COMPONENT OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES.
Program accomplishments
- ANNUAL CONFERENCE, MEETINGS AND PERIODIC PUBLICATIONS FOR MEMBERS ADVANCED IDEALS OF PATRIOTISM, VALOR, FIDELITY, MILITARY KNOWLEDGE AND SOLDIERLY ABILITIES THROUGH RECOGNITION OF INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP EFFORTS.
- INSURANCE PROGRAM PROVIDED AVAILABILITY OF LOW-COST LIFE INSURANCE TO MEMBERS ENHANCING THEIR SECURITY AND WELL-BEING.
- LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES INFORMED DULY ELECTED LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL OFFICIALS OF THE MILITARY NEEDS OF THE COUNTRY AS THE NEEDS PERTAIN TO THE RESERVE FORCES.
