Mission

LOCAL UNION 168 AFL-CIO IS ORGANIZED TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE TO ITS MEMBERS WHO FABRICATE, INSTALL, AND SERVICE PIPING SYSTEMS. THE LOCAL ALSO TRAINS PIPE TRADESMEN THROUGH VARIOUS PROGRAMS.

  • THE UNIONS MAJOR FOCUS IS HELPING LOCAL PLUMBER & PIPEFITTER TRADESMEN WITH THEIR EMPLOYMENT NEEDS. THE UNION HELPS THE MEMBERS FIND EMPLOYMENT AND HELPS WITH THE MEMBERS HEALTH INSURANCE NEEDS. THE UNION ALSO PROTECTS THE UNION MEMBERS AND MAKES SURE THEY ARE BEING TREATED FAIRLY IN THEIR JOBS.
