UWIA also refurbished all district trash cans to enhance aesthetics and reduce litter. In response to community needs, the Association transitioned from using hospitality ambassadors to private security guards, increasing visible safety presence and deterrence of unwanted activity. These drew thousands of visitors and significantly boosted foot traffic in the district.
