Mission
To collect, preserve, and share the history and family genealogies of African American life in and around Surry County.
Program accomplishments
- The Foundation collected contributions and disbursed funds to provide historical and genealogical resources, educational exhibits, and maintenance to the facility of the organization. There will be continuous fundraisers to support these efforts in the foreseeable future.
