WE HAVE ADDED ADVANCED/CHALLENGING TOYS, BUILDING KITS, AND PUZZLES FOR THE OLDER CHILDREN IN OUR CARE, AS WELL AS ATTENDANCE AT OUR SCHOOL. SKILLED ORPHANAGE STAFF REGULARLY TUTOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN TO EMPOWER THEM TO SUCCEED AT SCHOOL. CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR STAFF HAS INCLUDED ATTACHMENT TECHNIQUES, WORKING WITH ABANDONED AND/OR TRAUMATIZED CHILDREN, SELF-CARE, HEALTH, AND STRESS MANAGEMENT. OUR RESIDENT SOCIAL WORKER KEEPS HANDS-ON STAFF UP TO DATE WITH CARE TECHNIQUES AND ADDRESSES TRAUMA AND DEVELOPMENT IN THESE CHILDREN, PROVIDING ENRICHING ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND DEXTERITY. STAFF HAS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND DURING TIMES OF LOCAL GANG VIOLENCE, ALTERING THEIR SCHEDULES AND SACRIFICING TIME WITH THEIR OWN FAMILIES, TO PROTECT AND CARE FOR THE CHILDREN WE SERVE.Expenses $635,794 · grants $16,385 · revenue $51,491
