The 15 mile route is designed to include each of Jersey Citys 6 legislative districts known as Wards. The tour provides a police escort throughout the ride. Trained marshals provide safety for riders encouraging more individuals who may be afraid to ride on their own. Marshals wear vests use two way radios to communicate.
