990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2023

Program accomplishments

  • Keep the neighborhood improving. Used rental revenue and borrowed funds to continue rebuilding our inventory of dilapidated/restored homes (11 rebuilt and 3 torn down to date). 2 are currently in process. 2 sold to tenants. Built and maintain a community park. We combined 8 vacant lots in inventory to make a community park. In 2016 the local Rotatry club built a pavilion for this park. The city donated playground equipment. A community garden is part of the park. We maintain it for residents with funds from rental revenue.
    Expenses $1,000
  • Converted former office to a homeless shelter. Purchased cots and privacy curtains and made alterations to make the building safer in the event of fires.
