Mission

The Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) Action is a grassroots, member-led, statewide community organization working with more than 16,000 members in six counties across California, dedicated to raising the voices of everyday Californians, neighborhood by neighborhood, to fight for the policies and programs we need to improve our communities and create a brighter future.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • In 2024, ACCE Action continued our work of educating and activating impacted Californians to design and advocate for policy changes at the local and state levels. Through a large coalition ACCE Action members organized tenants and successfully lobbied legislators to pass Senate Bill 567 which extended tenant eviction protections to renters statewide. A highlight of this effort was the 800-person Housing is a Human Right Capitol lobby and action day in late April organized by the statewide Housing Now! Coalition where ACCE turned out nearly 400 people!
