Mission

CITYUNITE EXISTS TO UNITE CHURCHES AND FAITH BASED ORGANIZATIONS IN THE DENVER METROPOLITAN AREA TO IMPACT THEIR COMMUNITIES WITH A KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE AND SERVE THOSE IN NEED.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • THIS YEAR CITYUNITE FOCUSED MUCH OF OUR EFFORTS ON RESOURCING AND EQUIPPING SPANISH SPEAKING CHURCHES IN THE DENVER METRO AREA. WE HIRED A NEW STAFF MEMBER TO RUN POINT ON THESE EFFORTS AND ARE EXCITED ABOUT THE OUTCOMES. WE ARE RUNNING A CO-HORT THAT CONNECTS SPANISH SPEAKING PASTORS WITH EACH OTHER AND PROVIDES PRACTICAL TRAINING FOR THEIR LEADERSHIP TEAMS. WE ARE ALSO LAUNCHED AN INITIATIVE TO BUILD PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN UNDER-RESOURCED CHURCHES WITH CHURCHES WHO HAVE THE ABILITY AND DESIRE TO HOST SPANISH SPEAKING CONGREGATIONS FOR ZERO OR MINIMAL COSTS. IN 2025, CITYUNITE ALSO WORKED WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS ON A CONGREGATIONAL LAND CAMPAIGN TO HELP CHURCHES USE UNDER-UTILIZED LAND FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS. WE HIGHLIGHTED THIS MODEL AT THE COLORADO PRAYER LUNCHEON AND CONNECTED CONGREGATIONS WHO WERE INTERESTED ARE POISED TO DO THIS WITH CONGREGATIONS WHO HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS. WE BELIEVE THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT CONGREGATIONS CAN DO IN ORDER TO MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE LIVING ON THE MARGINS. OUR 2 KEYSTONE PROGRAMS HAVE CONTINUED TO GROW AND EXPAND. CITYUNITE RUNS THE COLORADO PRAYER LUNCHEON WHICH IS AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT BRINGS TOGETHER 1200 PLUS BUSINESS, CIVIC AND FAITH LEADERS WHO HAVE A DESIRE TO WORK TOGETHER TO SERVE PEOPLE IN NEED IN COLORADO. FINALLY, OUR WORK THOUGH THE ART OF NEIGHBORING MOVEMENT HAS CONTINUED TO GROW BEYOND OUR WILDEST DREAMS. WE HAVE NOW EQUIPPED OVER 3000 CHURCHES ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH TRAININGS AND RESOURCES TO LAUNCH LITERAL NEIGHBORING MOVEMENTS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE ART OF NEIGHBORING INITIATIVE IS A PRACTICAL WAY FOR CONGREGATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS TO BUILD CONNECTION AND A STRONG SENSE OF BELONGING IN THE COMMUNITIES THAT THEY SERVE.
