Mission
The purpose of the organization is to raise funds and recruit volunteer workers to facilitate the participation of local Lutheran congregations in the construction of Habitat homes for Habitat qualified families.
Program accomplishments
- In 2025 the Lutheran Coalition for Habitat with its 12 participating Lutheran Churches participated in a Habitat home build. Volunteers from participating Lutheran churches were recruited to assist in construction. The Coalition's financial commitment to assist with funding the build was fulfilled primarily by grants made during 2024.
