Mission

Sprouts of Promise Foundation ("SOPF") was formed with the goal of educating both children and adults on the importance of healthy eating. With the obesity rate continuing to rise, bringing increased awareness to healthy food choices is critical. Specifically, SOPF will seek to make the community aware of the valuable benefits of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables in one's daily food decisions. SOPF will accomplish this goal with two vehicles of education: 1) in-school education and 2) fresh fruit and vegetable distribution.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

    Expenses $586,396 · revenue $675,680
  • In-school education bring farmers and nutritional experts into schools to teach children about food choices by making them better aware of where their food comes from and the valuable nutritional benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables.
