Program accomplishments
- Bonnie Brae PTO Program Service Accomplishments. Teacher-Led Afterschool Enrichment Programs: The PTO's primary program service consisted of coordinating and funding afterschool enrichment classes taught by Bonnie Brae teachers. These classes provided students with supplemental educational opportunities outside of the regular school day in areas such as arts, academics, and physical development. Community events: The PTO organized four community-wide events - the Movie Night, Fall Festival, Fun Fair, and Staff Basketball Game - designed to build relationships among students, families, teachers, and the broader school community in direct furtherance of the organization's exempt purpose. Read-a-Thon Campaign: The PTO conducted an annual Read-a-Thon to promote student literacy and school spirit. Students solicited pledges from family and community members based on reading activity. Spirit Wear / Logo Items: The PTO designed and sold school logo merchandise (t-shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories) to promote school pride and community identity. Staff Appreciation: The PTO recognized and honored Bonnie Brae teachers and staff through special events to support staff morale and the broader school community. Student and School Support: The PTO provided school supplies reimbursement to the teachers, subsidized field trip costs, paid for school assemblies, and donated technology and equipment resources to the school. These programs directly and indirectly benefited the 700+ student enrollees at Bonnie Brae Elementary school, teachers and staff, and the wider school community.Expenses $74,081
