Mission
Create and oversee a permanent memorial at the site where the Japanese Americans of Bainbridge Island were forcibly exiled under executive order 9066 and civilian No. 1 during WWII
Program accomplishments
- Continued to raise money for construction of the visitor center on the memorial site. Incurred architectural expenses engineering expenses building permitting and licensing expenses and made progress on getting water to the site in advance of the commencement of construction. In addition normal maintenance expenses were incurred related to the site.Expenses $112,769
