Mission
Touching Lives Worldwide is a Christian-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving God by serving others. Our mission is to demonstrate Gods love by bringing hope, compassion, and practical assistance to people in need from all walks of life.We provide outreach to hundreds of individuals in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the United States, addressing both physical and spiritual needs. Our work places special emphasis on helping impoverished children. We support vulnerable children by providing shelter, nutritious food, clothing, shoes, education, healthcare, and emotional care in a safe and loving environment.
Program accomplishments
- During the fiscal year September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, Touching Lives Worldwide successfully continued most of its established programs and projects.The organization maintained active partnerships with nonprofit groups and two churches located in Dajabn, Dominican Republic, and Quanaminthe, Haiti. Through these collaborations, we made a meaningful impact in the lives of hundreds of children and adults experiencing poverty.We continued providing full support for children at our Haitian orphanage, operated schools for deaf children, and supplied food, healthcare services, and other essential assistance to many vulnerable and homeless adults. Overall, we served individuals across Haiti and the Dominican Republic through multiple programs designed to meet both physical and spiritual needs.In July, we successfully hosted our 13th annual summer camp, serving 172 children. Participants enjoyed structured activities, meals, fellowship, and a safe environment for learning and recreation.The organization also remains prepared to provide disaster relief assistance when emergencies arise.Touching Lives Worldwide operates with a very small budget and no paid employees in the United States. The organizations CEO, age 82, serves as an unpaid volunteer and contributes an average of more than 40 hours per week to mission work.Key activities supported during the fiscal year include:1. Operation of a thriving orphanage in Haiti.2. Support for schools serving deaf children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.3. Sponsorship of a summer camp for more than 172 underprivileged children.4. Assistance to a physician and his medical clinic in Haiti.5. Support of a Christian radio station broadcasting faith-based programming in Haiti.6. Organization of two fundraising golf tournaments in Florida and Maryland.7. Disaster relief assistance when needed.8. Emergency support for individuals requiring medical care, food, or financial assistance.9. Comprehensive support for a formerly homeless mother and her seven childrenIn addition to international efforts, Touching Lives Worldwide serves individuals within the United States.
