Mission
A religious organization providing youth an alternative to the street life of gangs, drugs and alcohol. Studio del Creador provides a safe, positive, and encouraging environment with free art and music workshops for all youth, encouraging them to discover the creativity our Heavenly Creator has placed within them, and find a new hope for their futures through the love of Jesus Christ.
Program accomplishments
- In 2025, Studio Del Creador continued to serve as a creative refuge and catalyst for transformation in Tecate, Mexico. Over the course of the year, we offered more than 128 different art courses, each lasting approximately 10 weeks. These classes provided consistent, hands-on opportunities for artistic growth, community connection, and personal development for people of all ages.More than 1,500 students participated in courses offered inside the Studio. Community favorites included Sewing, Drawing, Crochet, Cooking, Bible Journaling, and Painting-demonstrating the ongoing hunger for both creative skill-building and spiritually enriching spaces within our region. This work was made possible by the dedication of over 40 volunteer teachers, supported by dozens more volunteers who faithfully served behind the scenes. Their generosity of time and talent continues to cultivate a vibrant, welcoming environment where creativity and faith intersect.Beyond our Studio walls, we expanded our school partnerships in 2025, equipping three elementary schools and one middle school with art supplies and curriculum. Through these partnerships, we reached an additional 600+ students, bringing consistent access to creativity into public education classrooms. We were honored to host two mission teams from Northwest Church. Together, they led 27 single-session classes inside the Studio, organized neighborhood park outreaches, and facilitated an additional 37 art sessions with our elementary school partners. Their presence strengthened our programs and broadened our outreach impact across the community. Our Women's Ministry continued to flourish as we hosted three Women's Bible Study series. These gatherings created a meaningful bridge between our Studio and Church programs, offering safe, life-giving spaces where women found encouragement, purpose, connection, and biblical discipleship.A couple dozen students committed to and completed our year-long Bible discipleship program, walking intentionally through a season of spiritual growth and transformation. This year, we also joyfully celebrated 13 water baptisms-powerful testimonies of lives surrendered to Christ and renewed in faith.Expenses $157,993 · grants $730
