Mission
Maine Pellet Fuels Association works with it members and public and non-profit organizations to promote modern wood heating.
Program accomplishments
- 1. With a previously reported $100,000 grant received from Maine State government, persons viewing the online advertising for pellet heating were provided with the ability to obtain a discount on their purchase of pellets at participating retailers. This approach proved successful and the timeline for the grant was extended through May of 2026. Details in terms of retailers participating and heating customers served will be provided in the 2025-26 Form 990-EZ. 2. Our Association partnered with the Professional Logging Contractors of New England in publishing several newspaper columns promoting modern wood heating as a beneficial usage of Maine's vast forest resources. 3. Our Association's members hosted a number of activities at popular events (e.g. regional fairs) promoting modern wood heating.Expenses $28,999
