(DBA ALASKA HEALTH PROJECT SOUTH SUDAN AND ALASKA SUDAN MEDICAL PROJECT) IS AN ALASKA-BASED ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES VITAL HUMANITARIAN AID TO REMOTE, ISOLATED REGIONS OF SOUTH SUDAN. WITH THE MISSON OF "SAVING LIVES THROUGH HEALTH, WATER, AND AGRICULTURE", ALASKA HEALTH PROJECT SOUTH SUDAN ADDRESSES URGENT BASIC HEALTH NEEDS IN SOUTH SUDAN. OUR AID CENTERS ON PROVIDING CLEAN DRINKING WATER BY DRILLING WATER WELLS, FIGHTING FOOD INSECURITY WITH AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT BY PROVIDING SEEDS,TOOLS AND TRAINING TO SMALL FAMILY FARMS, AND AIDING HEALTH CARE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF SMALL MEDICAL FACILITIES. IN THIS FISCAL YEAR WE COMPLETED 21 WATER WELLS, 2 WATER YARDS, 2 FLOOD RESILIENT PLATFORMS, AND WORKED WITH OVER 1,000 FARMING FAMILIES.Expenses $1,090,069 · grants $5,000
