THE MISSION OF C5 YOUTH FOUNDATION OF TEXAS IS TO CHANGE THE ODDS FOR HIGH-POTENTIAL YOUTH FROM RISK-FILLED ENVIRONMENTS, INSPIRING THEM TO PURSUE PERSONAL SUCCESS AND PREPARING THEM FOR LEADERSHIP ROLES IN COLLEGE, WORK, AND THEIR COMMUNITIES
Program accomplishments
- YOUTH LEADERSHIP: PROVIDE A SUMMERTIME CAMP FOR LOW INCOME YOUTH, AGES 12-18, WHO ARE DOING WELL IN SCHOOL AND HAVE DEMONSTRATED LEADERSHIP CAPABILITY BUT ARE AT-RISK OF DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL OR NOT REACHING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. THIS MAY BE CAUSE BY THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY LIVE, LACK OF ADULT ROLE MODELS, OR A POSITIVE VISION OF THEIR FUTURE.Expenses $352,290
