Mission
NEXUS continues to be a vehicle for development and improvement of leadership skills through interactive teaching speaker sessions over dinner, one-on-one mentoring, service opportunities, and development workshops, paired with a proven curriculum. NEXUS is responsible for speaker expenses, dinners, and equips participants with the resources and reading materials set within the curriculum.
Program accomplishments
- Special events are held throughout the year in addition to the monthly speaker sessions, and all have a focused purpose. A few special events include: NEXUS Night Out Alumni event, Advisory Committee Meetings, Program Committee and Board Meetings, Partnership Meetings, Training Workshops, Service Projects, NEXUS Night Out Alumni event, Lunch Speaker Series, NEXUS IN MOTION, and a Recruitment reception; all supporting our mission and focused on the betterment of the NEXUS program and our city.Expenses $24,509
