Mission
To serve widows, orphans, and Christian adoptive families. Purpose is to help Christian adoptive families fund their adoptions by coordinating service projects to provide repairs and maintenance to the homes of widows.
Program accomplishments
- Both Hands provides grants that empower Christian families to overcome the financial barriers of adoption, ensuring more children can find a place in a loving home. By organizing home maintenance and repair projects for widows in need, Both Hands creates a practical avenue for volunteers to live out the mandate of James 1:27. To date, Both Hands has completed 1,652 projects across 46 states, serving 1,890 widows and helping 1,814 children join forever families. Each project utilizes a volunteer team that performs light repairs, painting, and landscaping for a widow while simultaneously raising funds for adoption and global orphan care. Through these efforts, $25.5 million has been raised to support this mission.Expenses $3,641,714
