WE ARE A COALITION THAT CONNECTS COMMUNITY AND LABOR.
Program accomplishments
- PORTLAND JOBS WITH JUSTICE HAS SUPPORTED NUMEROUS WORKER ORGANIZING CAMPAIGNS THROUGHOUT PORTLAND AND SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON. WE EMPHASIZE CAMPAIGNS WHO FIGHT THOSE MOST AFFECTED BY OUR ECONOMIC SYSTEM INCLUDING BIPOC, IMMIGRANTS, AND LGBTQ+ PEOPLE. THESE INCLUDED NEW UNIONS AND EXISTING UNIONS. PORTLAND JOBS WITH JUSTICE ALSO SUPPORTED NUMBEROUS COMMUNITY LED EFFORTS TO HELP PORTLANDERS DURING THE PANDEMIC. PORTLAND JOBS WITH JUSTICE ALSO HOSTED VIRTUAL EVENTS THAT INCLUDED MOVIE SHOWINGS, READING CIRCLES TO EDUCATE PORTLANDERSExpenses $288,593 · grants $22,303
