Mission
THE MISSION OF THE GREATER OHIO POLICY CENTER IS TO IMPROVE THE COMMUNITIES OF OHIO THROUGH SMART GROWTH STRATEGIES AND RESEARCH.
Program accomplishments
- THE GREATER OHIO POLICY CENTER (GOPC) HELD A SUCCESSFUL BROWNFIELDS CONFERENCE THAT EDUCATED LOCAL LEADERS AND CONNECTED PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD. GOPC PROVIDED EXPERTISE AND GUIDANCE TO LEADERS IN PORTSMOUTH, AKRON, CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, HAMILTON, AND THE MAHONING VALLEY. GOPC RELEASED A GUIDE FOR NON-ENGINEERS ON HOW TO BUILD SAFE, VIBRANT STREETS AND ISSUED ITS BIENNIAL STATE POLICY PLATFORM. GOPC'S EXPERTISE WAS FEATURED IN PROMINENT MEDIA COVERAGE AND WE RECEIVED THE "PARTNER OF THE YEAR" AWARD FROM THE OHIO LAND BANK ASSOCIATION.Expenses $688,486 · revenue $650,551
