Foster Religious, Cultural, Charitable, Educational Forums
Program accomplishments
- Bichitra arranges and performs 4-6 Religious and Cultural Programs during each Fiscal year. The Purpose is to promote Ethnic Cultural Awareness Within the background of the Larger American Culture. In 2021-2022 Five programs staged in open forum of all ages. Over 300 persons attended.Expenses $91,408
- Bichitra arranges weekly Bengali Language Classes. In 2021-2022 all classes operated virtually. The Purpose is to promote Cultural and Educational Awareness among community members. The Classes are open to all interested communities. Over 100 persons are engaged continuouslyExpenses $400
- Bichitra arranges Charitable Fund Raising as a part of its regular and special programs. The Purpose is to promote Charitable Awareness among community members, and support the Less-Fortunate. The Funds are distributed to Needy Charities. Over 1000 persons are benefited by the respective organizations.Expenses $6,376
