PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION DEDICATED TO PROMOTING HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT THROUGH NETWORKING, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION RENEWAL PROGRAMS. THE ASSOCIATION WORKS TO PROVIDE ITS MEMBERS ACCESS TO THE SHRM COMPETENCY MODEL IN A WAY THAT MAXIMIZES THEIR ABILITY TO IMPACT THE SUCCESS OF THEIR ORGANIZATIONS AND TO BE THE RECOGNIZED VOICE OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES PROFESSION WITHIN THE ASSOCIATION'S SERVICE AREA

- THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES AND BENEFTIS TO ITS MEMBERS: PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, PROGRAMS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE IN VARIOUS HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AREAS. PROVIDE A FORUM FOR MEMBERS TO MEET AND SHARE INFORMATION THAT WILL HELP THEM ADDRESS HUMAN RESOURCE ISSUES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE ORGANIZATIONS. PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT SERVE TO INCREASE AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT BY THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY, GOVERNMENT AND GENERAL PUBLIC.
