Mission
To promote international cooperation in the application and use of mathematics in geosciences research and technology.
Program accomplishments
- The Association provides annual awards to recognize senior scientists for career achievements,mid-career scientists for exceptional potential and proven research ability, student research, and other similar organizations. 25 awards were distributed in 2024.Expenses $75,235
- The Association participates in conferences, workshops, symposiums, and scientific discussions for scientists around the world. It also publishes journals to provide current information and developments in the areas of mathematical geosciences.
