THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WATERFRONT EMPLOYERS PROVIDES LEGAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, REPRESENTS INTERESTS, PROMOTES AND SUPPORTS THE PRIVATELY OWNED STEVEDORES AND MARINE TERMINAL INDUSTRY OF THE UNITED STATES, ITS TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS. THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WATERFRONT EMPLOYERS (NAWE) IS THE VOICE OF THE US MARINE TERMINAL OPERATING AND STEVEDORING INDUSTRIES AND OF PUBLIC OPERATING PORT AUTHORITIES IN WASHINGTON, DC. NAWE ADVOCATES FOR THESE ENTITIES AND PROMOTES MARINE CARGO EFFICIENCY, SECURITY AND HEALTH, A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT, INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH. NAWE DOES THIS THROUGH EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY COOPERATION.

- NAWE PROMOTES MARINE CARGO EFFICIENCY, SECURITY AND HEALTH, A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT, INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, AND INDUSTRY COOPERATION. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE SUPPORT.
