Mission
To promote the science of Lepidoptera butterflies and moths study in all its branches; to further the scientifically sound and progressive study of Lepidoptera; to publish periodicals and other relevant publications on Lepidoptera.
Program accomplishments
- Publication of refereed Journal of the Leopdopterists Society 4 issues yearly and News of the Lepdopterists Society with articles regarding research aspects of the study of Lepidoptera plus one season summary of important sightings and collection records. All publications were produced on time and within previously set budget limitations. The only revenue produced is from minimal page charges averaging 25 per page in the refereed Journal.
