THE GETTYSBURG FIRE DEPARTMENT VOLUNTEER FIREMEN'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ELIGIBLE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS WITH PROTECTION FROM MISFORTUNE SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE FIRE SERVICE.
