Mission
To provide teens with various programs that enable them to lead healthier lifestyles.
Program accomplishments
- The TI Summer Leadership Program (SLP) brings together high school students from NH and New England through experiential workshops designed as catalysts for personal values exploration and increased school and civic engagement. Throughout the week, participants also increase their knowledge on a variety of topics including substance misuse and substance use disorders, bullying, conflict resolution, and health and wellness. The program connects participants with their local peers and school and community action organizations so they can channel this new energy toward the betterment of their home communities. In 2025, we served 53 high school students with a youth & adult volunteer staff of 38. The SLP is currently undergoing its final review in pursuit of Evidence-Based Practice designation.Expenses $49,359
- At our Leaders In Prevention (LIP) weekends, teams of middle school students come from their school or community organization to participate in an array of learning opportunities - both within their own team and together with all of the participating teams - around topics in school climate, substance misuse prevention, and community involvement. Every participant has the opportunity to develop or expand their leadership skills, build positive relationships with their peers and youth & adult mentors, and explore new ideas to improve their schools & communities. Through this process, they learn more about themselves and each other, and about how to work effectively as a team. The program culminates in each team designing an Action Plan for a project they will implement in their school or community. In 2025, we served 81 youth participants across 2 sessions of the program, and they were led by 40 youth & adult volunteer staff members. The LIP program is currently in a multi-year data collection process to then apply for Promising Practice status.Expenses $45,985
- We also conduct individual day or short series programs for youth & adults. These include both highly customizable workshops on a variety of prevention, leadership, and wellness activities, and evidence-based programs for adult learning, including Staying Connected with Your Teen (for parents/guardians of 12-17-year-olds) and national trainings such as the SAPST (SPF Application for Prevention Success Training) and Ethics in Prevention for professionals working in prevention, behavioral health, eduction, and other related fields.Expenses $199,343 · revenue $52,790
