THE LATINO PUBLIC RADIO PROVIDES INFORMATION WHICH IS EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, CIVIC, POLITICAL, SOCIAL AND SIMILARLY RELATED SUBJECTS THROUGH THE AIRWAVES FOR THE LATIN AMERICAN COMMUNITY.
Program accomplishments
- LPR ADDRESSES CRITICAL HEALTH ISSUES IN RHODE ISLAND BOTH IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH WHICH NOW MORE THAN EVER INCLUDES AFFORDABLE AND SAFE HOUSING, ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS FOOD AND OTHER BASIC NEEDS. LPR BRINGS THIS INFORMATION BY ATTENDING, BROADCASTING AND RECORDING COMMUNITY FORUMS, DATA RELEASE EVENTS AND CONFERENCES THAT PERTAIN TO HELP KEEP OUR COMMUNITY HEALTHY IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES. PROVIDES INFORMATION AND RESOURCES THAT CAN HELP WITH THESE ISSUES BY PARTNERING WITH OTHER NON-PROFITSExpenses $122,346
