  • THE STANDARD RESPONSE PROTOCOL (SRP), AND STANDARD REUNIFICATION METHOD (SRM) REMAIN THE FLAGSHIP PROGRAMS OF THE FOUNDATION. THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDE RESEARCH-INFORMED, ACTION-BASED CRISIS RESPONSE AND REUNIFICATION FRAMEWORKS THAT ESTABLISH A SHARED LANGUAGE AND COORDINATED PROCEDURES FOR SCHOOLS, DISTRICTS, PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS. AS OF THIS REPORTING YEAR, SRP AND SRM ARE IMPLEMENTED BY MORE THAN 78,000 SCHOOLS, DISTRICTS, DEPARTMENTS, AGENCIES, AND ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND INTERNATIONALLY. THE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO IMPROVE PLANNING AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EFFORTS NATIONWIDE. PROGRAM SERVICE REVENUE IS PRIMARILY GENERATED THROUGH KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS, TRAINING WORKSHOPS, CONSULTING ENGAGEMENTS, AND ANNUAL AFFILIATION AGREEMENTS WITH IMPLEMENTING ORGANIZATIONS. DEMAND FOR TRAINING AND IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT CONTINUED TO INCREASE DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD, RESULTING IN EXPANDED NATIONAL REACH AND DEEPER ENGAGEMENT ACROSS EDUCATION, PUBLIC SAFETY, AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SECTORS. QUARTERLY LIVESTREAM SRP AND SRM TRAININGS CONTINUED ON AN OPEN ENROLLMENT BASIS. THESE VIRTUAL SESSIONS PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE INTRODUCTORY AND REFRESHER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOOLS AND AGENCIES AT A MODEST COST, WHILE EXPANDING NATIONAL ACCESS TO THE FOUNDATIONS PROGRAMS. IN-PERSON CURRICULUM REMAINS ELIGIBLE FOR PROFESSIONAL CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS. TRAININGS ARE APPROVED FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR COUNSELORS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS THROUGH THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS, POST CREDIT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONALS IN MULTIPLE STATES, AND BY THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON LAW ENFORCEMENT (TCOLE), AMONG OTHERS. THESE ACCREDITATIONS SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND INCREASE ADOPTION AMONG PUBLIC SAFETY AND MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS.

DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD, THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT AND REFINEMENT OF NEW PROGRAM MATERIAL, INCLUDING: THE SRM TABLETOP EXERCISE (SRM TEX), SCHEDULED FOR LAUNCH IN 2026, PROVIDES STRUCTURED, SCENARIO-BASED PRACTICE FOR ORGANIZATIONS IMPLEMENTING THE STANDARD REUNIFICATION METHOD. THIS EXERCISE ENHANCES REAL-WORLD READINESS, CROSS-AGENCY COORDINATIONS, AND COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS. A NEWLY PRODUCED SRP TRAINING VIDEO TITLE 5 MINUTES, 5 ACTIONS, IS SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE IN 2026.
