Mission

TO MAKE A LASTING IMPACT ON VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES BY PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES THAT EMPOWER AND EQUIP THEM FOR A SECURE FUTURE.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • DURING 2025, STILL SERVING VETERANS (SSV) SECURED OVER 138 MILLION IN NEW SALARIES THROUGH OUR CAREER AND TRANSITION PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS VETERANS, TRANSITIONING MILITARY, AND MEMBERS OF THE GUARD AND RESERVE. OUR TEAM OF COUNSELORS, WHO ARE ALL VETERANS, HELP CLIENTS TRANSLATE THEIR MILITARY SKILLS INTO CIVILIAN LANGUAGE AND CREATE BOTH A RESUME AND A LINKED IN PROFILE. CLIENTS ALSO LEARN SALARY NEGOTIATION AND INTERVIEW SKILLS. WE OFFER INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS TO HELP VETERANS DECIDE WHAT CAREER PATH THEY WANT TO TAKE AFTER MILITARY SERVICE. SSV WAS ONCE AGAIN HONORED TO BE A PRIMARY GRANTEE FOR THE CALL OF DUTY ENDOWMENT. IN 2025, SSV ALSO PROVIDED VA BENEFITS ASSISTANCE TO CLIENTS AND SECURED 20.1 MILLION IN VA BENEFITS ON THEIR BEHALF. SSV SERVED AS OUR GOVERNOR'S LEAD NON-PROFIT ADVISOR ON MANY VETERAN-RELATED ISSUES. MORE THAN 6,500 VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE SERVED DURING 2025. SSV DOES NOT CHARGE ANYONE FOR OUR SERVICES, WHICH ARE PAID FOR BY THE GENEROSITY OF OUR GRANTORS AND DONORS. OVER 44K IN SUPPORT ALSO HELPED 135 VETERANS IN NEED WITH RENT AND UTILITY PAYMENTS DURING 2025.
    Expenses $2,139,969
