Mission

Lucky Cat Adoptions is an all-volunteer organization serving Greater Jacksonville since 2005. Our work focuses on two core programs: rescuing at-risk cats from regional municipal shelters for adoption, and providing targeted Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • In 2025, Lucky Cat Adoptions sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and placed 748 cats and kittens into loving homes. Most were rescued from municipal and nonprofit shelters across North Florida, where they were at risk of euthanasia. Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program focused on underserved areas within the Jacksonville metropolitan region, working to humanely reduce community cat overpopulation in lower-income neighborhoods. In 2025, we provided TNR services for 360 community cats in Duval County, improving animal welfare, supporting residents, and helping reduce shelter intake.
