Program accomplishments

  • FATHERS HOUSE HAS BEEN HELPING, ABUSED, ABANDONED, AT-RISK, AND TRAFFICKED CHILDREN FOR OVER 16 YEARS. WE HAVE SEEN MANY CHILDREN GROW INTO SUCCESSFUL ROLES IN THE COMMUNITY, AS WELL AS BECOMING STAND OUT LEADERS IN CHURCH, YOUTH GROUP AND SPORTS TEAMS. WE ARE STARTING ON OUR 20TH YEAR OF TEACHING ENGLISH. WE HAVE MANAGED TO KEEP THIS MINISTRY FREE TO THE COMMUNITY. OUR PAST STUDENTS HAVE GOTTEN GOOD JOBS WORKING AS A TRANSLATOR, GUIDES, IN BANKS, HOTELS AND GOVERNMENT POSITIONS ALONG WITH OTHER VENUES WHERE ENGLISH IS SPOKEN AND NEEDS TRANSLATION. WE ARE NOW TEACHING 9 CLASSES EACH EVENING RANGING FROM PHONICS TO SENTENCE STRUCTURE AND COMPOSITION. WE AVERAGE 195-200 STUDENTS EACH EVENING, AS THE STUDENT FINISH ONE GRADE AND MOVE UP TO ANOTHER THEY ARE AWARDED A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION FROM GCCS.

JESS FOCUSED ON TEAM BUILDING, LEADERSHIP CLASSES AND NEW DESIGNS AS WELL AS SECURING HUNDREDS OF YARDS OF SECOND-HAND FABRICS.
