Mission

TOUCH A LIFE SEEKS TO RESCUE, RENEW, AND RESTORE CHILDREN RESCUED OUT OF TRAFFICKING IN GHANA, WEST AFRICA. WE PROVIDE LONG-TERM REHABILITATIVE CARE FOR THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN OUR PROGRAM, SPECIFICALLY BY PROVIDING HOUSING, EDUCATION, AND MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT AT OUR CARE CENTER.

Program accomplishments

  • TOUCH A LIFE LAUNCHED THE AGENTS OF CHANGE INITIATIVE. WE HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED IN THE TRANSFORMATIONAL POWER OF STORY, AND THE YOUNG ADULTS IN OUR PROGRAM ARE READY TO USE THEIR STORIES TO CREATE CHANGE IN THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN GHANA. NOW THAT THEY HAVE GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE, THEY WILL USE THEIR SKILLS, TESTIMONIES, AND HEARTS FOR SERVICE TO BRING SUPPORT TO COMMUNITIES THAT NEED IT MOST. BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE TRAINING AND SUPPLIES FOR CIRTICALLY-NEEDED AREAS, LIKE WATER PURIFICATION, REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, AND VOCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, OUR AGENTS OF CHANGE WILL CREATE POSITIVE IMPACTS FOR YEARS TO COME. TOUCH A LIFE CONTINUES TO EMPOWER THE STAFF AND CHILDREN IN OUR PROGRAM WITH THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO BECOME A SELF-SUSTAINING ENTITY. WE WANT TO PRIORITIZE PROJECTS THAT ALLOW THE 100+ CHILDREN IN OUR CARE TO LEARN TO LIVE OFF THE LAND, TAKE CARE OF THE PLANTS AND ANIMALS THAT DWELL AMONG THEM, AND WORK ON PROJECTS THAT CAN HELP IMPROVE AND BEAUTIFY THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY.
