STUDENTS RECEIVE COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING IN RHYTHMIC ARTS AND MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT, FEATURING: TRADITIONAL GOURDS & DRUMS: IPU (GOURDS) AND PAHU (DRUMS) HAND IMPLEMENTS: 'ULI'ULI(FEATHERED GOURD RATTLES), 'ILI'ILI (WATER-WORN STONES), KALA'AU(SPLIT BAMBOO) STRING INSTRUMENTS: 'UKULELE INSTRUCTION AND ACCOMPANIMENT CLASS OFFERINGS THE HALAU HOSTS ELEVEN CLASSES EACH WEEK, PROVIDING DEDICATED INSTRUCTION TAILORED TO ALL AGE GROUPS: KEIKI & YOUTH: SERVING STUDENTS FROM AGES 3 TO 17 ADULTS: COMPREHENSIVE INSTRUCTION FOR ADULT LEARNERS OF VARIOUS SKILL LEVELS GLOBAL CULTURAL EXCHANGE BEYOND WEEKLY INSTRUCTION, HALAU HULA KAULUOKALA PROUDLY SERVES AS AN AMBASSADOR OF HAWAIIAN CULTURE ABROAD.
