THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MARINE SURVEYORS (NAMS GLOBAL) SERVES THE MARINE SURVEY PROFESSION BY PROVIDING THE MARITIME INDUSTRY WITH RECOGNITION AND HIGHLY QUALIFIED MARINE SURVEYORS IN THREE GENERAL SURVEYING DISCIPLINES: HULL AND MACHINERY, YACHTS AND SMALL CRAFT, AND CARGO.
Program accomplishments
- THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MARINE SURVEYORS (NAMS GLOBAL) MAINTAINS CERTIFICATIONS FOR CERTIFIED MARINE SURVEYORS, PROVIDES COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MEMBERS VIA A NEWSLETTER, AND OFFERS REGIONAL MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES REGARDING THE LATEST APPROVED AND RECOMMENDED PRACTICES IN MARINE SURVEYING. AN APPRENTICE PROGRAM IS MAINTAINED AND CONTINUING EDUCATION IS ALSO PROVIDED FOR MEMBERS.
