We provide our dogs with shelter, proper veterinary care and any required rehabilitation. Our dogs come to us from a variety of different sources such as rescues from our city and county shelters and strays and pets who are neglected or abandoned due to bad economic times.Who We Are: Animals Rule Placement Foundation is a registered tax exempt 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Animal Welfare organization, Tax ID #13-4264510. Program accomplishments

  • 2025 Program Service Accomplishments:We found that 2025 was another year where dogs were shed from peoples lives for many and various reasons. Our rescue organization had no returns thanks to our screening process, but we did accept a record number of owner-surrendered dogs to help prevent the animals from re-entering the already overloaded shelter system. Once again, 2025 was a very interesting year to rescue and adopt animals. We found that there were still many people who had life changing experiences and found themselves needing to remove their dogs from their lives. Whether their dog was surrendered due to a move, a layoff, career change, straight-up financial difficulties or renter problems, our rescue organization stepped up to the plate. Our rescue intake and adoption numbers this year are still a little lower and slower than pre-Covid-19 times, but they have slowly been improving over the last five years. We feel that under the circumstances we did an outstanding job!We rescued a total of 65 animals in 2025, and we only lost 1 of those due to a critical medical condition. The breakdown of the 65 animals placed in 2025 is as follows; we saved a total of 11 dogs on their last day at our city and county shelters and we accepted 28 owner-surrendered dogs, thus preventing them from entering the shelter system. These dogs were surrendered to us for various reasons such as housing relocations, landlord problems, layoffs, unemployment, returning to work, and straight-up financial difficulties. We accepted 12 strays whose owners we were unable to locate, 7 dogs that were abandoned in housing, and 4 dogs from owners who passed away.In addition to all of this, we accepted 2 female dogs from a breeder who was finished breeding dogs. Breeders have also been very slow in moving their dogs. Our organization was able to assist 14 low income/homeless families with pet food and various forms of assistance throughout the year. Of the 65 animals we adopted, 62 were dogs, and 3 were guinea pigs.We accomplished all of this while struggling to recover financially from the pandemic ourselves, holding down jobs of our own, marriages and mortgages and this made for another crazy and difficult year. We are dedicated to the well-being of our rescue dogs and we love each and every one of them who pass through our rescue on their way to forever homes. Please help us to give back and help make a difference in the lives of homeless pets. Please dont buy, dont breed, Adopt! Respectfully from the Animals Rule officers and volunteers, we thank you and look forward to changing more lives in 2026 with your help.
