Program accomplishments
- MONTEFIORE NYACK HOSPITAL IS A 391-BED COMMUNITY ACUTE CARE MEDICAL AND SURGICAL HOSPITAL FOUNDED IN 1895. WHAT STARTED AS A TWO-STORY HOUSE WITH NINE BEDS, AN OPERATING ROOM, NURSE'S PARLOR, RECEPTION AREA, AND DINING ROOM HAS TODAY BECOME A PREMIER ACADEMIC COMMUNITY HOSPITAL. AS PART OF THE MONTEFIORE HEALTH SYSTEM, MONTEFIORE NYACK HOSPITAL BRINGS THE INNOVATIONS AND EXPERTISE OF A RENOWNED ACADEMIC MEDICAL CENTER TO ROCKLAND COUNTY. RECENT INVESTMENTS, INCLUDING AN EXPANSION OF OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, A NEW STATE-OF-THE ART CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION LAB, A BREAST CENTER OFFERING WORLD-CLASS ACADEMIC MEDICAL CARE BY THE AREA'S LEADING BOARD-CERTIFIED SPECIALISTS, A COMPREHENSIVE ORTHOPEDIC AND SPINE CENTER, A JOINT REPLACEMENT CENTER AND THE MADLYN BORELLI MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS CENTER, UNDERSCORE OUR COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE IN PROVIDING TOP-TIER MEDICAL CARE CLOSE TO HOME. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES EXTENSIVE INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT SERVICES, INCLUDING ADDICTION SERVICES, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, BREAST AND WOMEN'S HEALTH, CANCER, CARDIAC CARE, CLINICAL GENETICS, CLINICAL TRIALS, DIABETES EDUCATION, EMERGENCY MEDICINE, FOOD AND DRUG ALLERGY DESENSITIZATION, HEMATOLOGY AND ONCOLOGY, HOME CARE SERVICES, IMAGING, INFUSION, JOINT REPLACEMENT, LUNG CANCER SCREENING, MATERNITY, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS CARE, NUTRITION COUNSELING, ORTHOPEDIC AND SPINE, PAIN MANAGEMENT, PEDIATRICS, PHARMACY, PULMONARY REHABILITATION, RADIATION ONCOLOGY, RESPIRATORY SERVICES, ROBOTIC SURGERY, SLEEP MEDICINE, STROKE, TRAUMA AND WOUND CARE.
